ACTA DEL JURADO
En
Zaragoza (España), a las 20 horas del día 19 de noviembre de 2003, en el Servicio
Cultural de la Caja de Ahorros de la Inmaculada (Avda. de la Independencia,
10), se reúne el Jurado previamente nombrado por el Comité Organizador
de la XI Bienal Internacional de Cine y Vídeo Científico en Español,
para dictaminar sobre los audiovisuales presentadas a dicha convocatoria.
In Zaragoza (Spain), to the 20 hours of day 19 of November of 2003, in
the Cultural Service of the Caja de Ahorros de la Inmaculada (Avda.
de la Independencia, 10), meets the Jury previously named by the Organizing
Committee of the XI Biennial International of Cinema and Scientific Video
in Spanish, to consider on the audio-visual ones presented to this call.

El Jurado se congratula por la decisión del Comité Organizador de que la Bienal de Cine Científico, circunscrita hasta esta convocatoria a producciones realizadas en España, se convierta en internacional sin dejar de mantener la lengua española como elemento esencial definitorio. La Bienal contribuye de esta manera a fomentar el uso del español como idioma para la difusión de los progresos del conocimiento tanto en ciencias y tecnologías como en humanidades, y sin distinción del país de origen o de residencia de las personas, empresas e instituciones que producen las audiovisuales. Así, se felicita por el número de países, 14, de los que provienen las 125 filmaciones que concurren a esta primera convocatoria internacional, y que son: Argentina, México, Chile, Uruguay, Francia, Costa Rica, Bosnia-Herzegovina, El Salvador, Estados Unidos, Guatemala, Italia, Paraguay, Portugal y, lógicamente, España.
The Jury congratulate the decision of the Organizing Committee of which the Biennial of Scientific Cinema, circumscribed until this call to productions made in Spain, becomes international without letting maintain the Spanish language like distinctive essential element. The Biennial contributes this way to foment as much as possible the use of the Spanish language for the diffusion of the progresses of the knowledge in sciences and technologies as in humanities, and without distinction of the country of origin or residence of the people, companies and institutions that produce the audio-visual ones. Thus, it is congratulated by the number of countries, 14, from which the 125 films come that contest to first international call, and which they are : Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Uruguay, France, Costa Rica, Bosnia-Herzegovina, El Salvador, the United States, Guatemala, Italy, Paraguay, Portugal and, logically, Spain.
