Teruplug is new products for extraction socket protection. It provides hemostasis and promotes regeneration. This video shows how to filled Teruplug into extraction socket and our demonstration of the effect of Teruplug. The photograhs of SEM shows Teruplug have a sponge-like structure made of atelocollgen. It is from bovine dermal collagen treat protease, so that Teruplug gain biocompatibility. A thin section of teruplug is cultured with a bone fragment of mouse. Bone fibroblasts and osteoblasts infiltrates the hydrate Teruplug fibers. At last Teruplug fibers are absorbed, and are replaced by regenerated tissue. We monitored the movement of cells by microscope time-lapse photographs. We also show the process of wound healing in Beagle dog. More over the bone formation was affirmed by alkaline phosphatase stain.
